Key Issues
- Crossing over conveyors in shipping and packaging lines required either using a crossover ladder, which posed a risk of workers falling, or lifting a section of the conveyor to pass through.
- Additionally, the lift-up section also posed a risk of falling and causing injuries to the hands if it fell unexpectedly.

The Solution
- Lifting the table's flap allows safe passage without the need to cross over the conveyor, improving convenience and eliminating the risk of falling.
- Introduced lift-assist dampers to create a slow-closing, lift-up work table, significantly reducing the risk of hand injuries.
The LAD lift-assist dampers are installed onto the lift-up tabletop section. These dampers are equipped with a lift-assist feature, allowing the tabletop to be lifted with minimal effort. Additionally, the tabletop closes slowly and quietly (soft-closing) to reduce finger pinching.
Image in use: During operation, packages slide in from the conveyor belt, and during breaks, the tabletop can be flipped up to allow easy passage.

Another key feature is the slim profile of the arm unit. When opened, it only sticks out by 35mm, meaning it won't obstruct any passageways.
