HES3D hinges are completely hidden when closed and can be used with framed and frameless doors.

Invisible when closed:The HES3D has a 7-axis construction. Due to its special structural design, the needed mortise depth is reduced.
Increased Safety
The HES3D minimises the hinge-side door gap and increases safety.
The HES3D-70/90/120/H-120-36/120-A100 are winners of the “Kids Design Award” in Japan. This indicates that the door gap does not exceed 13mm (see below for details). The Kids Design Association, an NPO, runs an award program that recognizes designs promoting children's security, fostering creativity, and facilitating child-rearing. Note: This award does not guarantee safety, but shows that the product is within Japan's "Better Living" standards.

A unique trajectory that promotes safety
When doors with a standard single-axis hinge are opened and closed, a large gap is created between the hinge side of the door and the door frame. This can increase the risk of accidentally getting fingers caught or pinched between the door and the frame.
The HES3D hinges use a unique trajectory to keep the gap between the door and the frame at less than 5 mm which reduces the risk of injury.

The large gap increases the risk of finger pinching.

A less than 5mm gap makes doors safe for kids.
Note: Some models may have a door gap that is greater than 5mm depending on door specifications.
Easy Installation
3D Door Adjustment
The door position can be adjusted in three directions even post-installation. Additionally, the hinge can be separated into two parts: the door and frame sides which helps make installation a lot easier.
No Help Needed
The HES can be split into two parts (door/frame sides) and the door can be temporally hung on the frame before fixing the screws.
